Job Description

Translation Empire PK is looking for a Danish Interpreter and Translator in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad. We are currently recruiting for Danish interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc. Established in 2001 Translation Empire PK provides professional interpreting and translation services to both the government, public and private sectors across organizations around the globe. If you speak fluent English and Danish language, this could be the role for you. We are currently recruiting for: Telephone Interpreters; Video Interpreters; Translators. The Job: Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source’ language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target’ language with 100% accuracy.

Job Responsibility

  • Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements

  • Fluent in English or another language
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
