Damage Fixer Handler – Starting salary of £24,570 (increased dependent on skills and experience) plus additional benefits. DLG is evolving. Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the validation, investigation, negotiation and fulfilment of first and third party damage claims, and any other associated losses
Proactively resolve outstanding investigations, in order to choose the most appropriate settlement route
The role will have end to end ownership and accountability
Supporting our customers, you'll work to targets to achieve team and individual goals
Requirements:
Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-moving environment while effectively managing multiple tasks and prioritising workload
A strong team player with a proactive attitude, eager to learn and support colleagues
Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service—someone who takes pride in high-quality work and always puts the customer first
Comfortable handling digital and online tasks, with solid IT skills and previous experience using software such as Microsoft Outlook and Word
Confidence in dealing with customer and third-party calls, alongside managing your own workload
Open to change and innovation, with a willingness to contribute ideas that enhance the customer experience
Claims experience is required for this role
Nice to have:
Having a valid driver’s license and experience driving on UK roads would be beneficial for this role, as it provides a better understanding of motor claims and the customer experience
