T H WHITE Dairy is a leading DeLaval dealer supporting dairy farms across the south of England with advanced milking technologies, including market-leading robotic milking systems, parlours, cooling and related dairy equipment. Due to internal investment we are recruiting for an experienced engineer to become our Service team Supervisor to lead our specialist team of Service Engineers across the region. This is a hands on Supervisory role. You'll spend approximately 75% of your time out in the field installing, servicing and responding to breakdowns of automated milking systems and conventional parlours. The remaining 25% of the role will be office based in Attleborough. The Working Supervisor will be responsible for the delivery of the service goals, working to depot individual service targets, and appraising and facilitating the ongoing development of the service team, dealing with both their welfare and their development. You'll also be responding to long term and short term needs and ensuring scheduling meets the needs of our customers.
Job Responsibility
Installation, service and repair of conventional and robotic milking parlours
Supervision and workforce allocation of roles and tasks in the dairy service team at Attleborough
Maintaining and scheduling the call out rota
Customer / client liaison, problem solving and excellent communication on jobs to ensure customer satisfaction
Resource management – holiday planning and managing around short-term absences
Requirements
Prior supervisory experience or a senior engineer looking to step up
Can do attitude
Hands on Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical engineering capability in a similar role
Good communicator
Able to multitask and prioritise workload
IT Proficiency
Flexible and able to quickly change between task or changing situation
Be presentable and happy to engage with customers
Attention to customer requirements and detail
Team player
Conscientious and hard working
Ability to work on own and as a part of our team either in our workshop or on customers sites
Full UK Driving Licence
