We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Dairy, Frozen & Liqour Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of these key departments. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for delivering strong department performance while maintaining high standards in presentation, availability, and customer service. This is a full-time position, working five days per week. Days and hours will be discussed during the interview process
Job Responsibility:
Managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Dairy, Frozen, and Liquor departments
Taking ownership of buying, including ordering, range management, and stock control
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and representatives
Leading, supporting, and developing your team to achieve department goals
Ensuring shelves are well stocked, merchandised, and presented to a high standard
Monitoring stock levels, waste, and department performance
Maintaining food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards
Delivering excellent customer service and responding to customer needs
Requirements:
Previous supermarket or retail management experience is preferred
Experience in buying, stock control, and supplier management is highly advantageous
Proven experience leading and managing people is essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive, reliable, and hands‑on leadership style
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
