Job Description:

A Dairy/Frozen Department Manager co-ordinates the merchandise and activities of Associates in a department(s) of a Wal- Mart store through modular integrity, perpetual inventory, merchandise management, and customer service, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the Management Team with the supervision of the designated Department
  • Ordering merchandise on time
  • Maintaining zero pricing errors
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance
  • Adhering to food safety and handling procedures
  • Following proper procedures on Mark-up/Mark-downs, Price Changes
  • Listening to Customer complaints, examining returned merchandise, and resolving problems
  • Following budgets for the department(s)
