Job Description:

The Dairy Cattle Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the dairy cattle industry. This position requires prior experience or knowledge in the dairy cattle industry.

Job Responsibility:

Learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services
Focus on new market development within the dairy cattle industry
Contact sellers within the dairy cattle and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services
Explain our websites and on how to enter their own information along with also entering their listings for them
Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications
Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry
Research the dairy cattle and livestock industries and the proper way to list the information on our site
Provide feedback from the industry
Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve
Heavy focus on customer service and sales
Perform a variety of tasks that assist in the implementation
Work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications
Assume other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Prior experience or knowledge in the dairy cattle industry
Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
Results oriented
Flexible and open to change
Stable and progressive work history
Professional appearance and demeanor
