Job Description

As a D365 Customer Engagement (CE) Product Configuration Lead (PCL) you will play a pivotal role in delivering D365 solutions that streamline the company sales and customer management processes. PCL will be responsible for providing expert-level configuration services, helping to leverage D365 CE solutions to optimize the business processes. PCL will work closely with the product team & business partners to understand the business needs and transform them into technical and functional solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the product team & business partners to understand the business processes and requirements
  • Provide guidance on best practices for implementing D365 CE solutions
  • Works in close collaboration with DevOps Team, i.e. Product Managers and Solution Architects on defining Business Specification and splitting them in Backlog Items, providing sequence and effort/Story Points estimation
  • Lead the configuration activities within the D365 CE implementation for various business processes, and deployment of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Configure and customize D365 CE modules & Mobile Apps to meet Business needs (e.g., entity, form, field, relationship design), using the best practices for cross-system requirements
  • Support of Developers in D365 development team to deliver the agreed scope of work
  • Assure usage of Azure DevOps CD/CI Pipelines (ALM, YAML)
  • Integrate D365 CE with third-party applications and legacy systems, where relevant and collaborate with integration teams to provide recommendations and support for configuration & delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that the development team encounters
  • Support creation of key-user and end-user training documentation and training deliveries to ensure successful adoption of D365 CE
  • Ensures creation & maintenance of functional documentation in Azure DevOps Wiki
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and user guidance
  • Suggest enhancements to improve solutions and optimize performance
  • Works very closely with Solution and Platform Architects on Performance Improvements opportunities and new functionalities architecture
  • Stay current with the emerging trends and technologies, tools, and best practices within the Microsoft D365 ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business & technology stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and successful delivery of solutions
  • Provide support to the business team to plan & execute change management and process improvements post-implementation
  • Adopt SAFE Agile principles and foster & advocate CI/CDs processes ensuring DevSecOps practices are in the DNA of every product lifecycle
  • Provide status updates, manage risks, and address any issues that arise during the product delivery lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Implementation projects
  • Proven experience in configuration of D365 Customer Engagement Apps and Mobile Apps
  • Experience working with one or more of the D365 CE modules: Sales, Service, Marketing
  • Experience in system integration with other Microsoft products (e.g., Power BI, PowerApps, Azure, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of D365 CE platform, including customization and configuration of Entity, Forms, Views, Business rules, Web Resources, Dashboards, Security Roles, Workflows, Relationships, Ribbon and Chart Customization
  • Familiarity with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript or .NET
  • Strong knowledge of data migration and integration tools, including Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps
  • Having strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and experience working in Agile environment and participating in Agile ceremonies
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (or higher) preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • FMCG Commercial business process awareness will be considered as an advantage
