Our client is a globally recognised Microsoft Partner, expanding their Finance & Operations practice in the UK. They are looking for an experienced D365 Supply Chain Management Lead Consultant to join a high-profile EU-wide rollout for a leading food distribution client. This is a senior delivery role where you will act as the go-to SCM expert on the project — working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical architects to drive the design, configuration, and successful deployment of D365 F&O SCM capabilities across multiple European markets.
Job Responsibility:
Leading end-to-end SCM workstream delivery across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics modules within D365 F&O
Engaging directly with senior client stakeholders to gather requirements, challenge the status quo, and translate complex business processes into scalable D365 solutions
Driving fit/gap analysis, functional design documents, and configuration across a multi-country food distribution environment
Mentoring junior consultants and supporting the growth of the F&O practice in the UK
Collaborating with project managers and technical teams to manage delivery risk, scope, and quality throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain Management — covering procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, or logistics
Proven track record leading functional SCM workstreams in a consulting or implementation environment
Experience in food distribution, FMCG, retail, or a similar high-volume supply chain environment is a strong advantage
Confident communicator, able to present to C-suite and business stakeholders with credibility
Microsoft certifications (MB-330 or equivalent) desirable
Comfortable with UK & European travel to client sites as project demands requires
Nice to have:
Experience in food distribution, FMCG, retail, or a similar high-volume supply chain environment
