The IT D365 F&O Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications to meet business needs. The role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support digital transformation, and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
Job Responsibility
Develop, customize, and maintain D365 F&O functionalities using X++, Azure DevOps, and related Microsoft technologies
Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate requirements into accurate, scalable technical solutions
Integrate D365 F&O with other enterprise platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, API frameworks)
Manage code promotion, deployments, and version control through Azure DevOps or Lifecycle Services (LCS)
Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and technical support for both production and non-production environments
Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and ITIL-based service management processes
Requirements
Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data model, and extensibility framework
Experience with SQL Server, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Fabric
Skilled in data integration (Dataverse, Synapse Link, REST APIs) and reporting (SSRS, Power BI)
Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within Azure DevOps
Understanding of LCS project management, monitoring tools, and deployment strategies
Financial and operational processes — general ledger, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and project management
Understanding of end-to-end ERP lifecycle: from design and configuration to deployment and support
Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, or professional services is a plus
Awareness of compliance, audit trails, and data governance (especially in finance and operations contexts)
Analytical thinking: Able to diagnose complex issues, find root causes, and propose structured solutions
Collaboration: Works effectively in cross-functional teams, bridging communication between technical and business stakeholders
