Job Description

As a D365 Finance Functional Consultant, you will lead the design and implementation of D365 F&O Finance solutions. You are responsible for ensuring that all financial modules are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with the broader IT roadmap. You will work as a key advisor to the organization, translating high-level business requirements into efficient, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Solution Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design of D365 F&O Finance modules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops to extract requirements, identify bottlenecks, and map business processes to D365 capabilities
  • Gap Analysis & Blueprinting: Perform rigorous gap analyses to determine where 'out-of-the-box' functionality suffices versus where modifications are required

  • User Empowerment: Develop tailored training materials and lead educational sessions to ensure seamless user adoption and proficiency

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully leading D365 F&O Finance implementations
  • Deep functional knowledge of D365 Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value for stakeholders
  • Must be based in Canada and available for occasional travel to onsite office locations as needed
  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310)
