The D365 Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to support critical business processes. They will work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, configure D365 Sales, Customer Insight Journey and Customer Voice modules, integrate external systems, and ensure the platform remains secure, reliable, and optimised for performance. The role combines hands-on development with problem-solving and continuous improvement, helping the organisation maximise the value of its D365 environment.

Requirements:
Proven experience working with and extensively configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 – specifically Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journeys
Experience of end‑to‑end deployment of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse), including environment strategy, ALM governance, solution packaging, release pipelines, and post‑deployment validation to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant delivery
Strong and demonstrable technical skills in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and related Microsoft technologies
Strong understanding of D365 security model including role-based access, environment management, and governance
Solid understanding of D365 solution architecture principles, data structures, and system design
Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across D365 and Power Platform environments
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders at all levels
Ability to create high quality technical documentation, solution designs, and architectural diagrams to support technical governance
Nice to have:
Microsoft certifications such as MB500, PL400, MB‑260, PL‑600 or other relevant D365/Power Platform credentials
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and work item tracking
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including participation in sprint ceremonies
Experience working in or good understanding of a professional services organisation
