Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Business Central development, customization, and integration. You will work closely with functional consultants and clients to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL (Application Language) and C/AL (for older NAV versions)
  • Create extensions, custom pages, reports, and workflows to meet client needs
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Business Central solutions
  • Design and implement integrations between Business Central and other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware
  • Work with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) for seamless integration
  • Develop scripts and tools for data migration from legacy systems to Business Central
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity during migration
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design and document technical architectures for Business Central implementations
  • Optimize the performance of Business Central environments by fine-tuning code, queries, and configurations
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
  • Provide technical support for Business Central implementations, including troubleshooting and bug fixes
  • Perform regular updates and upgrades to Business Central environments
  • Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides
  • Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices in Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Explore and implement new tools and technologies to enhance Business Central solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) development and technical consulting
  • Proficiency in AL programming and C/AL (for NAV)
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code and the Business Central development environment
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database management
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and integration tools
  • Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Active Directory)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Knowledge of source control systems like Git or Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role
