Job Description

d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud is located in the historic Village of Yorkville, Toronto’s most luxurious shopping and dining district. With an impressive view of Yorkville Avenue, this lively cocktail bar in Toronto is the perfect place for a drink before or after your meal, or make d|bar the evening’s destination and choose from a menu of casual fare that’s ideal for sharing. The Server Assistant aids the Server in providing an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience conforming to d|bar standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The position clears tables and resets them neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification.

Requirements

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform this position to d|bar standards and learn the sequence of service
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
  • Smart Serve certification

Nice to have

  • At minimum 1 year previous Server Assistant/Bus Person experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of English language
  • Additional language a definite asset for career growth
