Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer at Cymer, you’ll provide on-site support for complex equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. Your work includes installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining systems. You’ll also help customers operate and maintain the equipment, acting as a key point of contact for technical and service-related issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides onsite field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoots either to resolve issues directly or through referring advanced issues to technical support resources
  • Acts as a customer service advocate, instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
  • Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots Cymer equipment problems via telephone or at customer site
  • Ensures that parts are available and as specified for service requirements
  • Maintains appropriate tools are on hand and as required
  • Travels as required for the purposes of performing service activities at customer sites or backfilling for other Cymer Field Service Engineers
  • Uses company technical documentation and provides feedback for improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (ex. 전기/전자, 광학, 물리, 기계, 메카트로닉스, etc.)
  • 0~2 years’ experience in optics, laser, and/or semiconductor equipment experience is preferred. (신입 가능)
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in both Korean and English
  • Communicates clearly and concisely with stakeholders
  • Good at multi-tasking and hands on skills
  • Proactive, fast-learner and strong ownership for solving issues
  • Excellent customer service skills with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building
  • Prefers experience using the following software packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LabView, Internet Protocol, and Computer Networking

Nice to have

  • 0~2 years’ experience in optics, laser, and/or semiconductor equipment experience is preferred. (신입 가능)
