Job Description:

A growing technology and cybersecurity business is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to support enterprise customers across a broad portfolio of security solutions. This opportunity is suited to someone with a strong technical foundation and a customer-facing mindset who enjoys bridging the gap between business challenges and security strategy. The role will work closely with sales teams, technology partners, and end customers to design, position, and validate cybersecurity solutions across cloud, infrastructure, identity, data protection, and governance domains.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with customers to understand operational, security, and compliance requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and solution recommendations aligned to business objectives
  • Support the sales lifecycle through solution positioning, technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations
  • Develop solution designs, technical proposals, and response documentation for customer engagements
  • Assist in defining architecture and security strategies across areas such as: Cloud and application security, Security operations and monitoring, Network and infrastructure protection, Data protection and governance, Identity and access management, Risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Lead or support proof-of-concept activities and technical evaluations
  • Work alongside internal delivery teams and technology vendors to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Keep up to date with evolving cybersecurity technologies, trends, and regulatory developments

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience within cybersecurity presales, technical consulting, or solution engineering
  • Broad understanding across multiple security domains including cloud, network, identity, SOC, data security, and compliance
  • Exposure to enterprise infrastructure environments and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness with a consultative approach to solution selling
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales engagements and technical bid processes

Nice to have:

  • Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate, CCNA Security, or cloud security certifications
  • Experience working with cybersecurity vendors, integrators, or channel ecosystems
  • Exposure to identity governance, privileged access management, or GRC platforms
  • Familiarity with enterprise RFP/RFI processes
