Job Description

As a Security Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you'll play a key role in securing new business and advancing our security solutions. Your focus will be on pursuing and landing qualified leads and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. You'll present tailored solutions, value propositions, and revenue models to address our clients' specific needs. Your role will involve directly interacting with clients at various levels and collaborating with internal subject matter experts. By working closely with Client Managers, you'll engage in meaningful conversations, support the pre-sales process, and help design the best security solutions for our clients. You'll be responsible for maintaining subject matter expertise in the security technology domain and using this knowledge to support sales closures. You'll stay informed about the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies to penetrate new markets. Additionally, this role requires you to develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors to enrich our solutions. Leading client workshops and presentations will be part of your day, where you'll articulate security deliverables to meet client requirements. Building and nurturing relationships with multiple stakeholders will be essential to secure deals and achieve your sales targets. Your ability to personalize solutions based on client needs will drive your success. You'll work collaboratively with sales teams to close deals, develop clear account plans, and identify client risks. Your efforts will align with a shared goal of growth, using structured sales methodologies and tools to drive the sales process and achieve outstanding results.

Requirements

  • Extensive understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies, including knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity solutions
  • A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals
  • Skill in delivering engaging sales presentations and elevator pitches
  • Meticulousness in maintaining up-to-date, accurate sales forecasts and close plans
  • Experience in a team-selling approach and knowledge of competitors and competing sales strategies
  • Strong negotiation skills to craft solutions beneficial to customers, partners, and our organization
  • The ability to develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships up to the C-level
  • A client-centric mindset with the capability to understand customer problems and find best-fit solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet urgent deadlines and short missions
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field or related area
  • Industry/Vendor sales certifications required
