Cybersecurity Legal Counsel

• Provide legal support, advice, and guidance on cybersecurity matters
• Provide counsel on cybersecurity incident prevention and response including customer and regulatory notifications
• Advise business stakeholders on regulatory inquiries regarding cyber and information security issues
• Instruct Cybersecurity Fusion Center and business lines on legal risks associated with cyber and information security program
• Track existing and proposed cybersecurity rules and regulations
• Work with legal and product teams globally to review products and initiatives
• Draft cybersecurity presentations, exercises, and trainings
• Counsel on development and implementation of information security governance
• Update cybersecurity policies, playbooks, and procedures

• Knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and practices
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal environment in which Citi operates
• Proven ability to apply sound judgment and engage directly with internal clients
• Ability to manage multiple significant projects and work under tight time pressures
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours during emergency events
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and relationship management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven research and analytical skills
• Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in or with financial institutions
• Juris Doctorate (or equivalent law degree)
• Qualified to practice law in the United Kingdom (or equivalent jurisdiction)
• Bar license in good standing to practice law
