Job Description

Carex is partnering with a Consumer Products industry partner to hire a Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining secure access across systems, ensuring efficient onboarding and offboarding processes, and safeguarding organizational assets through effective identity governance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand system workflows and access dependencies.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate and timely access provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Administer access to network file shares, Windows servers, and identity systems
  • Support and maintain access management tools, including Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Handle access-related requests and incidents through ticketing systems, ensuring proper documentation and resolution
  • Assist with access reviews, audits, and compliance-related activities
  • Execute or develop basic PowerShell scripts to support automation and operational efficiency (nice to have)
  • Provide support for Exchange environments (on-prem and cloud) as needed (nice to have)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot access issues and improve IAM processes

Requirements

  • Experience with identity and access management processes, including user provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID for access control
  • Experience working with ticketing systems in an IT support or operations environment
  • Background in IT QA, Service Desk, Customer Service, Security Administration, or Governance preferred
  • Strong logical thinking and reasoning skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Basic experience with PowerShell scripting (preferred)

Nice to have

  • Execute or develop basic PowerShell scripts to support automation and operational efficiency
  • Provide support for Exchange environments (on-prem and cloud) as needed
