As a Cybersecurity Engineer (Reverse Engineer) on our team, you will: be trusted to directly support the reverse engineering efforts of desired systems and support software analysis efforts. Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
Job Responsibility:
Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation and mitigation
Aid in the reverse engineering of the electrical, communication, and computer systems to determine the function of each system and sub-systems
Provide direct client support to the customer in the development of analysis and test plans
Support the reverse engineering of the electrical systems including power generation, conversion, and distribution system
and guidance system including circuits, instruments, physical and structural
Support software analysis efforts including identification and function of guidance algorithms, data tables and input and output signals
Support laboratory testing of subsystems including the development of test plans and post-test data analysis
Support modeling and simulation efforts to translate reverse engineering findings into meaningful results
Document all results in the final technical report including subsystem physical and functional descriptions
Support technical discussions and briefings to the technical community, to include the development and presentation of technical briefing summaries of the in-depth analysis and test results
Willing to learn about the various disciplines that encompass reverse engineering
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph required
A bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or a master's degree plus 3 years, Doctoral Degree and 2 years. An associate's degree plus 7 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
Degree must be in Computer Science Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Relevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering
Working knowledge of IDApro
CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA Certification required
Information Assurance Certification may be required
Nice to have:
Malware analysis skills
