Job Description

Responsible for building Vodafone’s cybersecurity business, including secure networking, secure endpoint and secure cloud, and significantly growing this existing revenue stream. As one part of the role, the Cybersecurity BDM will work closely with the Sales team and directly with the customer to lead customer presentations and workshops that will show case our Secure Solutions and Services to drive and refine requirements in the creation of customer solutions which will enable their business strategy. The learnings from that are fed back into Product Roadmap and Product strategy by the Cybersecurity BDM to ensure, Vodafone’s strategy keeps close to customer requirements. This role sits in our Vodafone Business International (VBI) organisation and will deal with opportunities where the customer decision makers are based in the region. The nature of Vodafone cybersecurity customers means some travel is to be expected in this customer-facing role. The customers this role will be dealing with are large multinational customers (MNC) and many engagements will be multi-country in nature.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage with senior stakeholders (C-level) within international (MNC) customers and support Vodafone Sales teams, applying a consultative sales approach to evangelize the market (senior leadership level [SLT] level), and to identify opportunities and deliver annual order value (AOV)
  • Regularly visit customers to define the art of the possible, support customers to build a business case and roadmap for Vodafone’s cybersecurity products and bring pilots and PoCs to life and see them through to production deployments
  • Contribute to the strategy for cybersecurity, the cybersecurity business case and cybersecurity Product Roadmap
  • Identify inputs and contribute to cybersecurity Product Management, this include customer requirements/propositions, pricing strategy & structure, Go-To-Market approach
  • Train and empower existing Generalist Solution Sales Specialists with the knowledge and confidence to sell Vodafone cybersecurity products
  • Represent Vodafone in external industry bodies (e.g. Gartner) and forums regarding Cybersecurity, including large industry events

Requirements

  • Proven track record in identifying and developing business opportunities in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record in actively supporting large and complex sales opportunities
  • Industry expertise in Cybersecurity
  • Experience in Telecommunications / IT Industry
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
