Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Solution Architect to support enterprise cyber security and digital transformation initiatives for our client in the financial services sector. This role will provide strategic cyber security architecture, technology risk advisory, governance, and AI security expertise while helping shape secure, resilient, and compliant enterprise technology solutions.
Job Responsibility
Provide cyber security architecture and technology risk advisory services supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
Assess current and future-state technology architectures to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant solutions
Develop enterprise security strategies, architecture roadmaps, and governance frameworks
Perform security architecture reviews, threat modelling, technology risk assessments, and control gap analyses
Design and promote secure architecture patterns, reference architectures, and security standards
Advise on cloud security, application security, data protection, AI security, and emerging technology risks
Support security-by-design, privacy-by-design, governance, compliance, and audit initiatives
Evaluate technology, cyber, third-party, and operational risks while recommending practical mitigation strategies
Translate complex technical and cyber risks into clear business recommendations for executives and stakeholders
Produce architecture documentation, security assessments, reports, presentations, and governance artifacts
Facilitate workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities
Monitor evolving cyber security, AI, regulatory, and technology trends to strengthen enterprise security posture
Requirements
University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Technology Risk, Enterprise Architecture, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Architect, Technology Risk Advisor, Enterprise Security Architect, or similar senior security role
Experience assessing current-state security environments and developing target-state security architectures and roadmaps
Experience designing, implementing, or governing enterprise security controls across cloud, infrastructure, applications, data, and digital platforms
Experience performing security architecture reviews, threat modelling, risk assessments, and security control gap analyses
Strong understanding of cyber security, technology risk, compliance, AI security, and emerging technology governance
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts and business risks to executives and non-technical stakeholders
Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating across cross-functional teams
Nice to have
Experience with NIST CSF, NIST Special Publications, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, or similar governance frameworks
Experience implementing Security-by-Design and Privacy-by-Design principles
Knowledge of cloud, SaaS, hybrid infrastructure, AI security, identity management, resiliency, and data protection
Experience with third-party risk, operational risk, and vendor security management
Familiarity with Responsible AI, AI governance, explainability, and model risk management
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA, CRISC, CGRC, AIGP, CAISP, or equivalent
