Job Description:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Product Lead to drive the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of a tooling suite that enables Trust by Design processes across Vodafone. This role plays a critical part in digitising, simplifying, and automating security and privacy controls, enabling consistent compliance, faster assurance, and stronger cyber risk management across global markets and business units. Based in Pune or Bengaluru, the role reports into the Cyber Security leadership team and works closely with technology, business, and assurance stakeholder

Job Responsibility:

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through structured stakeholder engagement, ensuring clarity, prioritisation, and alignment to business outcomes
  • Analyse existing processes and data to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and value creation
  • Act as the primary link between Cyber Security, Technology, and Business teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and delivered through to testing and implementation
  • Coordinate and align requirements from diverse stakeholders including Privacy, Corporate Security, Supplier Security, Legal, External Affairs, Tax, and Cyber Risk
  • Embed security and privacy by design principles into product development and delivery
  • Own and manage end-to-end release planning, schedules, and dependencies across environments and teams
  • Oversee release governance, deployment readiness, and change communication to ensure traceability and compliance with internal standards
  • Maintain and evolve the product roadmap, balancing business value, risk reduction, and regulatory requirements
  • Define, track, and present key metrics and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve usability and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Experienced technical product owner with strong business analysis and process design capability
  • Skilled in agile delivery approaches and experienced in managing backlogs, prioritisation, and trade-offs
  • Confident in engaging, influencing, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across technology, security, and business functions
  • Comfortable translating strategic objectives into practical, scalable solutions
  • Experienced in producing clear, management-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates an innovation and automation mindset, with practical experience of using AI tools, including Co-Pilot, to simplify processes
  • Brings a minimum of two of the following: 10+ years’ experience in Technology
  • 2+ years’ experience in Cyber Security, compliance, or audit
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Lead
  • Process design and simplification expertise (e.g., Six Sigma)
  • Delivery qualifications such as SAFe POPM or PRINCE2
