This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning, direction, and coordination of strategic projects within the organization, aligning them with overall business objectives. The role is within the Project Management Office (PMO), a centralized, strategic function within the global Information Systems & Technology department, committed to driving project excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the end-to-end planning, direction, and coordination of strategic projects within the organization, aligning them with overall business objectives
Drive multiple simultaneous, high-priority projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and valuable delivery, with a focus on Information Systems and Security initiatives
Perform comprehensive project planning, including defining project goals, strategy, staffing, detailed scheduling, identifying risks, creating contingency plans, and managing resource allocation to meet objectives
Direct the work of the project team members, serving as a liaison with key internal stakeholders across various departments, including IT, Digital, Legal, Privacy, and other business functions
Provide cross-functional visibility and communication regarding project status, resource needs, detailed requirements, timelines, and appropriate escalation of delivery impediments
Develop a robust risk management strategy for all assigned projects, creating and maintaining an accurate risk register, and actively managing scope throughout the project lifecycle
Create and deliver all required project management artifacts, including detailed work plans, progress reports, change requests, meeting notes, presentations, and data for regular portfolio reviews
Manage the project budget and ensure project goals are accomplished within prescribed funding parameters and in line with business objectives
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated project management experience, with involvement in information technology and/or information security projects
At least 5 years of project management experience leading large, complex, matrixed teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in both English and Mandarin is essential due to the primary focus on the China and APAC markets
An undergraduate degree, equivalent professional experience, or a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP)
Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues
Highly developed interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate teams
Nice to have:
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in formal project management methodology, program management, and experience aligning projects with organizational change management strategies
Solid understanding of current technologies and cybersecurity principles, with prior project experience in this domain being highly desirable
