Job Description:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Manager to join our specialist team working under the guidance of ITSA to deliver cybersecurity governance, risk management, and assurance activities. This role is critical in ensuring alignment with government regulations and best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Lead Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation program
oversee key cybersecurity projects, Cyber Policy Uplift, Essential Eight maturity levels improvements, and compliance activities
develop ICT systems Certification and Accreditation documentation leading Authority to Operate
provide leadership and mentor staff, fostering cybersecurity awareness and skills development
provide executive reporting inputs and updates, supporting stakeholder engagement, risk assessments, and compliance updates
develop and refine Cybersecurity GRC frameworks, ensuring regulatory alignment and best practices

Requirements:

5 years or more demonstrated experience working in a cybersecurity leadership role
in-depth knowledge of whole of Commonwealth Government security frameworks (PSPF, ISM)
strong expertise in developing security documentation (SRMP, SRA, SSP and Annex A, Standard operational procedures)
proven experience in leading cybersecurity teams and implementing security controls, compliance measures, and risk mitigation strategies
