Job Responsibility:

  • Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams
  • High quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures
  • Maintains accurate documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training
  • Minimum of one registry in either: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS-AE) or Vascular Technology (RVT)
  • or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • Graduates of an accredited sonography program who meet criteria for the registry exam are eligible for hire
  • An RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS credential must be obtained within 12 months of hire date
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date
