CV Sonographer II

• Perform various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams including Vascular Imaging (Carotid duplex, Peripheral arterial duplex, Ankle/brachial indices, Segmental pressures, Peripheral venous duplex, Cerebrovascular duplex) and Cardiac Imaging (Echocardiography, Exercise stress echo, Chemical stress echo, Transesophageal echo) and Noninvasive Cardiac Testing (Electrocardiograms (ECG), Holter/Event monitor applications, Non-imaging stress testing)
• Corroborate clinical history and assess patient for appropriateness of ordered procedure
• Provide patient education, apply patient relations skills and maintain confidentiality of patients and customers in a safe and professional manner
• Assume responsibility for assigned area, reporting equipment malfunctions and procedure difficulties
• Complete quarterly mandatory education requirements
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional development through participation in department meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programs

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training, upon hire
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months and Registered Vascular Technologist, within 12 - months or Registered Vascular Specialist, within 12 - months
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
