Cutting Punching Press Machinist

• Full responsibility for an automated Vega folder-gluer during your shift, including input and output
• Set up the machine according to production instructions and specifications
• Make necessary adjustments throughout the production process
• Ensure efficiency and quality of the production to meet customer requirements through inspections
• Produce conforming products at maximum speed with minimal waste
• Clean work area and perform preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment
• Troubleshoot machine issues in cooperation with the technical department or supervisor
• Support safety and improvement efforts to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

• Good basic understanding of technology and willingness to work in 3 shifts
• Experience as an operator in a similar industry, ideally on comparable machines, is a plus
• Ability to assess, interpret, and understand production specifications for orders
• The ability to use common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly values safety and has an eye for quality, order, and cleanliness
• Basic arithmetic skills (division, multiplication, etc.)
• Basic computer skills / data entry
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
• Positive, motivated team player who thinks along with the company's overall interests.

Experience as an operator in a similar industry, ideally on comparable machines, is a plus
