Job Description:

We're recruiting for a Customs & International Logistics Coordinator to support the smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with customs experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete import & export customs declarations accurately and on time
  • Monitor customs entries to ensure efficient clearance
  • Provide clear instructions to third-party customs brokers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline processes
  • Classify goods according to the UK Customs Tariff (HTS)
  • Track and report on customs-related KPIs
  • Offer customs consultancy support to internal departments
  • Quote and process international freight bookings across multiple transport modes
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues
  • Ensure compliance while meeting stakeholder requirements
  • Perform all duties related to customs clearance of consignments

Requirements:

  • Experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or international logistics
  • Strong knowledge of UK customs regulations and tariff classification
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office
