Job Description

At Transport Bourassa, you’ll create tailored transportation solutions that truly make a difference.

Receive and analyze transportation requests (phone, email, or other) from clients, pricing department, and sales representatives
Assess needs and identify carriers capable of servicing the required regions, in compliance with client agreements and Transport Bourassa rates
Negotiate transportation terms and rates with partners to ensure the best balance between service, speed, and cost
Ensure thorough follow-up of shipments through to final delivery
Research, identify, and build relationships with carriers able to cover regions not serviced by our fleet, to meet all client transportation needs
Maintain strong business relationships with subcontractors and keep rate agreements up to date
Validate and compile transportation documents required for billing and proof of delivery
Perform any other related tasks as assigned

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to act quickly
Bilingual (constant communication with clients)
Good knowledge of U.S. territories
Ability to negotiate and coordinate with various stakeholders (clients, carriers)
Team player
