Job Description:

At Transport Bourassa, you’ll create tailored transportation solutions that truly make a difference.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive and analyze transportation requests (phone, email, or other) from clients, pricing department, and sales representatives
  • Assess needs and identify carriers capable of servicing the required regions, in compliance with client agreements and Transport Bourassa rates
  • Negotiate transportation terms and rates with partners to ensure the best balance between service, speed, and cost
  • Ensure thorough follow-up of shipments through to final delivery
  • Research, identify, and build relationships with carriers able to cover regions not serviced by our fleet, to meet all client transportation needs
  • Maintain strong business relationships with subcontractors and keep rate agreements up to date
  • Validate and compile transportation documents required for billing and proof of delivery
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to act quickly
  • Bilingual (constant communication with clients)
  • Good knowledge of U.S. territories
  • Ability to negotiate and coordinate with various stakeholders (clients, carriers)
  • Team player
