Job Description:

IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Customer Warehouse Assistants to join our motivated and passionate team. This role is a customer-facing role, where you will be working in our Self-Serve Warehouse - a varied job role that involves warehouse operational tasks and great customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • serving customers in our warehouse
  • maximising sales
  • securing stock availability
  • administrative tasks
  • ensuring the area is clean, well presented, easy to shop, and ready for the following days' delivery
  • manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock
  • using pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
  • ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers

Requirements:

  • previous customer service experience
  • willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock
  • ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed
