The Customer Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance, information, or resources. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to helping others. Job Responsibility:
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
Provide accurate information about the organization’s programs, services, and resources
Maintain detailed records of interactions and client requests in internal systems
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and ensure a positive client experience
Assist with data entry and reporting to support organizational tracking and performance metrics
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and suggest enhancements
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in customer support, client services, or a related role (nonprofit experience preferred but not required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
bilingual skills (Spanish/other) a plus
High level of professionalism, empathy, and patience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, or database management systems
