Job Description

Xometry's Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the manufacturing industry. You'll be at the forefront of driving customer satisfaction through providing operational support and cross functional work relating to our customers. You can expect to work in an environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on experience across functional areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist customers via email, chat, and phone by answering product, order, and account-related questions, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Support daily operations by documenting customer interactions, updating internal systems, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Engineering) to improve customer experience and identify recurring issues or process improvements

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results
  • Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
