We are looking for a dedicated Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. In this long-term contract role, you will provide exceptional support to customers by addressing technical issues, analyzing energy systems, and ensuring the seamless delivery of energy management solutions. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver outstanding support to clients via phone calls, emails, and ticketing systems, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly
Analyze energy management systems and related data to identify opportunities for optimization
Interpret technical documents such as wiring diagrams and as-built drawings to support troubleshooting and system improvements
Collaborate with internal teams, field operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion
Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, incoming calls, and other updates to ensure proper record-keeping
Address technical problems by researching solutions, implementing fixes, or escalating issues when necessary
Build positive relationships with customers by demonstrating professionalism and empathy during interactions
Handle challenging situations, including upset customers or stressful calls, with composure and efficiency
Adapt to flexible work schedules and shift requirements as needed
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure the overall success of the department
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience, or an Associate’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience
Proven experience in technical support, customer support, or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including familiarity with Active Directory and Windows 10
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow and provide clear instructions
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and demonstrate attention to detail
Nice to have:
Knowledge of IP networking, building automation systems, or third-party integration protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus) is a plus
