An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Customer Supply Planner, within our Dundee manufacturing site. The Customer Supply Planner will be responsible for translating the product needs of our clients into a plan that delivers those products on time in full. Acting as the interface between customer and manufacturing site, this role is responsible for ensuring that we can meet the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and drive the resolution of any constraints to the satisfaction of the client.
Job Responsibility:
Key point of contact with representatives of our client base, planning finished goods delivery on time in full and ensuring client satisfaction
Receive, interpret and validate regular client product forecast updates. Process client orders
Co-ordinate client information flow of demand changes, client-supplied material, artwork version changes, client-specific systems/reporting, phase in/out of material changes
Using client-derived forecast, detail, develop and maintain an 18-month Master Production Schedule (MPS), balancing customer demand with available capacity and constraints on a monthly basis
Communicate and gain consensus across all functions for the MPS
Drive resolution of capacity constraints within work centres and ensure any major capacity issues are escalated appropriately
Formal initiation of Change Controls related to packaging components
Part Creation and Bill of Materials (BOM) Amendments, including management of old code obsolescence and phase-out activities
Ensure Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters are regularly reviewed and updated
On a regular basis ensure MRP is updated to reflect our current demand and supply plan
Identify and schedule material delivery using MRP across all raw materials/excipients, labels and packaging components in accordance with Argenta inventory policy
Co-ordinate the On Time in Full delivery of manufacturing materials with the vendor base
Ensure all inventories are planned and utilised to maximise Just-In-Time supply and avoid obsolescence
Run ‘What If’ scenarios when required to ensure the Master Schedule is optimised from both a supply chain and manufacturing perspective
Play an active role in Supply Chain initiatives
Represent supply chain as part of the New Product Introductions (NPI) project team. This will involve implementation of Product line extensions (i.e. different pack sizes or labels to an item already supplied to the market)
Requirements:
High School Education level as a minimum in English and Mathematics or equivalent demonstrable work experience in a similar role
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant Planning experience or knowledge of Production within a busy Manufacturing environment
Excellent organisational, planning and administrative abilities
Determination to see jobs through to completion
Ability to work accurately and within strict deadlines
