Job Responsibility:
Handle a consistent stream of inbound customer calls related to property and casualty insurance policies, typically averaging around 30 interactions per day
Review account documentation and policy notes to provide accurate information, clarify prior activity, and address customer questions effectively
Gather initial details for claim-related calls and ensure a smooth handoff to the claims team while maintaining a calm and reassuring customer experience
Identify opportunities for additional products or services during customer conversations and route potential leads to the appropriate sales team
Enter and update client information in internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Deliver thoughtful, solution-oriented support that strengthens customer relationships and reflects strong service standards
Navigate CRM and related computer applications to document interactions, track follow-up needs, and maintain organized customer records
Requirements:
Property and Casualty insurance license
Previous experience in customer service, customer support, or a similar client-facing position
Ability to manage frequent inbound calls while remaining composed, attentive, and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills with the ability to guide customer conversations clearly and courteously
Experience using CRM platforms and general computer programs for documentation and record management
Accurate data entry skills and the ability to review account notes carefully during live customer interactions
Comfortable assisting customers with insurance-related questions, service needs, and claim intake procedures
Demonstrated ability to recognize sales opportunities and relay them appropriately to internal partners
