Job Responsibility:

  • Acts as the product SME, assisting customers with their product questions and technical requirements, writing scripts, troubleshooting, training and other technical requests
  • Working together with product and engineering teams ensuring our customers and partners get the most out of our products
  • Ensure technical knowledge of the team is translated into articles and guides for our customers to consume allowing our customer coverage to scale

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Security Operations or Engineering with SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, providers (such as GCP, AWS, Azure) and use-cases
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security and IT products, systems, and processes
  • Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or JavaScript
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing multiple tasks under pressure
  • Skilled in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is a must

Nice to have:

Experience with attack surface management or CNAPP is a plus

  • Own the customer journey post-sale, leading onboarding, adoption, success, and renewal efforts across your book of strategic enterprise accounts
  • Drive value realization by helping customers align Cortex to their engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and platform modernization initiatives
  • Serve as a technical advisor by developing a deep understanding of the Cortex platform, SDLC best practices, cloud-native environments, and DevOps/Platform Engineering domains
  • Lead high-stakes conversations with executives during business reviews, expansion discussions, and renewal negotiations — tying product adoption to measurable business impact
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, and create structured action plans to drive customer health, mitigate churn, and accelerate growth
  • Advocate internally for your customers by partnering closely with Cortex Product, Engineering, and Sales teams, influencing product roadmap and strategy based on customer feedback
  • Continuously raise the bar for how Cortex drives technical adoption, customer outcomes, and operational excellence
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Customer Success motion — bringing ideas, feedback, and process improvements to help us scale a world-class CS organization
