Job Description

As part of the Customer Success team, you will be pivotal in supporting our clients post-purchase, ensuring their success with Palo Alto Networks' solutions. You will be involved in driving ROI and value to the customer along with troubleshooting critical issues. Your expertise will drive the continued success of our customers as you work alongside them to solve problems and optimize their security infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Acts as the product SME, assisting customers with their product questions and technical requirements, writing scripts, troubleshooting, training and other technical requests
  • working together with product and engineering teams ensuring our customers and partners get the most out of our products
  • Ensure technical knowledge of the team is translated into articles and guides for our customers to consume allowing our customer coverage to scale

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Security Operations or Engineering with SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, providers (such as GCP, AWS, Azure) and use-cases
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security and IT products, systems, and processes
  • Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or JavaScript
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing multiple tasks under pressure
  • Skilled in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is a must

Nice to have

Experience with attack surface management or CNAPP is a plus

  • Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams through on-strategy delivery to achieve customer/partner objectives and increase customer/partner satisfaction
  • Proactively manages business and technical risks, adapts methodology and applies governance principles to identify, communicate, and minimize business and technical risks
  • Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies (e.g., product offerings such as value-based deliverables [VBDs], advice, training, technical validation), ensuring proven practices and patterns are followed to prepare customers for operational readiness and achievement of their business goals and targets
  • Proactively identifies new opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion (especially Enhanced Solutions) at scale based on business value to customer/partner and clear understanding of the Microsoft value proposition for supported platforms to empower cloud success, foster and strengthen security and resiliency, and drive AI innovation
  • Proactively acts as the voice of the customer/partner, sharing ideas, feedback, insights, success stories and strategic/technical input with Engineering teams, Product Offerings teams and internal communities leveraging relevant insights from feedback tools and systems
  • Proactively helps the customer/partner adopt and use Microsoft product/platform strategy-aligned (cross-solution area) solutions
  • Acts as a mentor, leading readiness and upskilling activities in the team/organization by educating colleagues on technical and non-technical concepts and sharing proven practices
