Job Responsibility:
Partner with Sales to support the acquisition of new customers
Work directly with prospective clients to understand their data, analytics, and AI requirements
Design technical solutions aligned to Teradata’s platform capabilities
Support new customer acquisition by leading the technical aspects of presales engagements
Translate customer challenges into scalable data, analytics, and AI architectures
Help customers evaluate Teradata through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workshops
Contribute to revenue growth by supporting successful deal execution
Requirements:
Experience in a Customer Solution Architect, Presales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
Background working with enterprise data platforms, analytics, cloud, or AI technologies
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience supporting sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, and customer presentations
Experience supporting net-new customer acquisition or complex enterprise sales cycles
Knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, analytics platforms, or AI/ML solutions
Familiarity with proofs of concept, benchmarks, or technical evaluations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams
Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning
