Job Responsibility

  • Partner with Sales to support the acquisition of new customers
  • Work directly with prospective clients to understand their data, analytics, and AI requirements
  • Design technical solutions aligned to Teradata’s platform capabilities
  • Support new customer acquisition by leading the technical aspects of presales engagements
  • Translate customer challenges into scalable data, analytics, and AI architectures
  • Help customers evaluate Teradata through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workshops
  • Contribute to revenue growth by supporting successful deal execution

Requirements

  • Experience in a Customer Solution Architect, Presales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
  • Background working with enterprise data platforms, analytics, cloud, or AI technologies
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, and customer presentations
  • Experience supporting net-new customer acquisition or complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, analytics platforms, or AI/ML solutions
  • Familiarity with proofs of concept, benchmarks, or technical evaluations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning
