We are looking for a Customer Services Assistant to join our team, who cover the south west of the UK supplying a diverse customer base. Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you won’t be restricted by lots of red tape; you will have the opportunity to engage with your customers, truly getting to know them.
Job Responsibility:
Dealing with inbound enquiries from customers and pricing/chasing/winning orders
Processing incoming orders through our brand-new Ecommerce website
Responding to enquiries and tracking orders
Communicating with key stakeholders right up to delivery
Providing excellence in customers’ experience from pricing, offering technical knowledge, ordering, distribution & after-sale care
Delivering effective and efficient Sales and Distribution
Minimising customer queries and complaints
Working with customers, operations and transport teams via telephone and email to coordinate delivery
Driving the highest standards of customer service
Optimizing our commercial performance
Requirements:
Customer service experience
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to build rapport quickly
Good attention to detail
Efficient multi-tasker
Nice to have:
Existing experience or knowledge of the building products industry
