Job Description

Shoe Zone has an opportunity for a Customer Services Advisor to join our customer services team based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will join us on a part time (22.5 hours), permanent basis. Working within our fast paced and hardworking Customer Services Team, you will handle all day-to-day enquiries from our online customers and stores assistance to ensure the best possible outcomes and see each query through to its conclusion.

Job Responsibility

  • Resolving email and live chat enquiries
  • Answering customer telephone calls
  • Responding with customer queries on social media liaising with couriers to resolve delivery enquiries
  • Handle all day-to-day enquiries from our online customers and stores assistance to ensure the best possible outcomes and see each query through to its conclusion

Requirements

  • GCSE Level 4/Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous Customer Service and/or retail experience is desirable
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cheerful and confident manner
  • Positive, professional and calm telephone manner

  • Prepare and process shipping documentation for international shipments (e.g., despatch notes, commercial invoices, customs paperwork)
  • Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and maintain records for audits
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to book shipments and resolve logistical issues
  • Monitor shipments, timelines, and inventory, optimizing procedures and minimizing costs
