Our client in the transport industry in Dorval is currently looking for a customer service to handle all transportation requests. This person will be responsible for dealing with the truck drivers. This person is responsible to handle activities including order taking, processing orders from beginning to end and coordination.
Job Responsibility:
Order-Entry using Transportation Management System (TMW Truckmate)
Track and Trace all shipments throughout the transit time to ensure that we have full visibility of the shipment
Confidently problem solve issues such as a missed pick-up, late delivery, damaged freight or incorrect billing
Escalate any unsolved issues that may arise ...
Coordinate with shippers and consignees to meet all client’s requirements
Manage Client Portals with timely updates to keep our clients informed of shipment status
Work with the Finance Department to ensure the billing cycle can be completed
Requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience in Customer Service from transport industries such as FedEx, Amazon, Purolator, etc
Driven and competitive nature
Quality/customer focus, empathy, and an ability to maintain and build lasting-relationships, is a must
Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve all issues
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
Fluency in French and English, oral and written, is required (since we do business with clients based in Canada and the United States, knowledge of both languages is not only important but a major asset for us)
