MATR Foods is a Danish food tech start-up on a mission to build a tastier, healthier and more sustainable future by changing the way we eat, through next generation fermented plant-based products. The Customer Service Specialist will be the key contact for retail and food service customers in the German speaking region and Denmark.
Job Responsibility:
manage customer orders, deliveries, and inquiries with precision and care
support both retail and wholesale clients, ensuring smooth communication and high satisfaction
coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, production) to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
support the customer acquisition process using CRM tools
handle complaints and returns professionally and proactively
maintain and update customer data and documentation
contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes
Requirements:
minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, ideally in the food industry
familiarity with retail and wholesale structures and processes
fluent in German and Danish
English should be confident
strong communication and organizational skills
experience with CRM tools is an advantage
proactive mindset and hands-on attitude
comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
