The Customer Service Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional support to clients and customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. The Customer Service Specialist serves as a primary contact for incoming requests, collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a courteous and professional manner
Resolve customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and escalate complex issues as needed
Document interactions within CRM systems, ensuring accurate and complete records
Provide product, service, or policy information as requested
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings, procedures, and policies
Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer expectations and follow up on outstanding issues
Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and report feedback to management
Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Support a team environment and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate degree preferred
Previous customer service experience in an office or contact center setting is a plus
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
