Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional service to customers within the retail banking space, including assisting with account-related inquiries and transactions. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in customer service and an interest in financial services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide detail-oriented support to customers by addressing inquiries related to banking products and services
  • Assist in opening and closing accounts efficiently, ensuring compliance with banking regulations
  • Handle inbound calls and resolve customer concerns with a focus on delivering prompt and accurate solutions
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to maintain and update client information
  • Process billing and benefit-related functions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to improve customer experience and identify areas for process enhancement
  • Leverage computer programs and software systems to streamline customer service operations
  • Stay informed about retail banking procedures and products to provide up-to-date guidance to customers
  • Ensure all customer interactions align with company standards for quality and excellence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service, with a preference for candidates familiar with retail banking
  • Ability to work with CRM tools and other computer programs to manage customer information effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients
  • Familiarity with financial services system Horizon XE banking software is advantageous
  • Proficiency in handling billing and benefit-related functions
  • Experience with answering inbound calls and resolving customer concerns
  • Capability to learn and adapt to new software and processes quickly
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance

Nice to have:

Familiarity with financial services system Horizon XE banking software
