We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Specialist to handle incoming customer inquiries via phone. This is a temporary contract position starting in early April and running through November, ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on resolving issues efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a high volume of incoming calls from customers, providing timely and professional assistance
Listen actively to customer needs, troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions or escalate as needed
Use Microsoft Excel to log call details, track customer interactions, and generate basic reports
Maintain accurate documentation of customer inquiries and resolutions in our systems
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service quality
Adhere to company policies and procedures for data privacy and customer handling
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or phone-based role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, formulas, pivot tables, and basic analysis)
Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable internet and phone setup if working remotely
Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours/week), including potential weekends or evenings during peak periods
Nice to have:
