We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customer accounts for a manufacturing operation. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who combines strong communication skills with a proactive approach to order management, customer support, and cross-functional coordination. The role begins with onsite training and may transition to a hybrid schedule of two remote days per week after training is completed.
Job Responsibility
Manage customer accounts by preparing pricing and delivery updates, entering orders, revising schedules, and maintaining accurate account records
Monitor open orders and forecasts, follow up on time-sensitive requests, and take action to help keep customer commitments on track
Partner with sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve service issues and improve delivery results
Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders regarding order status, commercial terms, and account-related questions
Maintain customer master data and ensure account information remains current, complete, and reliable
Provide responsive support for inbound and outbound customer interactions while delivering a high level of professionalism and service
Apply product knowledge and sound judgment to address account needs, identify concerns, and support effective business decisions
Use Excel and internal systems to review account activity, analyze order details, and support day-to-day customer service operations
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in customer service, account support, or order management within a manufacturing or related environment
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
Experience handling order entry, customer inquiries, and inbound or outbound call activity in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with sound decision-making skills across multiple account management tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with business systems to review data and manage customer information
Ability to collaborate across departments, including supply chain and operations, to support service and delivery goals
Solid relationship-building skills and the ability to contribute positively in a team-oriented environment
