We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support a 6-8 week project in customer account management, order coordination across assigned accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service through timely communication, proactive problem-solving, and accurate management of customer and shipment information while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and internal sales teams.
Job Responsibility:
Manage customer inquiries and ensure all requests are handled within established service level agreements (SLAs)
Maintain and update customer master data and CRM systems to ensure accuracy and organization
Partner closely with Sales and Logistics teams to coordinate shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate updates proactively to customers
Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, shipment tracking, delays, payments, and other account-related activity to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Optimize container loads and oversee tracking and tracing of overseas shipments from mills, warehouses, and ports of dispatch
Create, organize, and maintain documentation related to operational processes, shipping requirements, compliance, and regulatory standards
Identify process improvements, system enhancements, and digitalization opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams to support overall business goals, team KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with additional operational projects including inventory reconciliations, claims management, and reporting needs
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in customer service, order entry, logistics, supply chain, operations, or account support environments preferred
Strong experience handling inbound customer calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and accounts simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams
Experience with CRM systems, customer account management, and maintaining accurate customer records
Ability to coordinate shipments, track orders, and provide proactive updates regarding delays or delivery issues
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Experience supporting inventory reconciliations, claims processing, or operational reporting is a plus
