Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, handle inbound calls, and maintain accurate customer records. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to all callers
  • Handling incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries
  • Entering customer data accurately into the system
  • Corresponding with customers via email
  • Managing both inbound and outbound calls
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word to manage customer information
  • Processing order entries
  • Scheduling appointments as required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH)
  • Adherence to Fair Housing regulations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, preferably within a non-profit setting
  • Skilled in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls with detail orientation and courtesy
  • Excellent data entry skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in email correspondence, able to draft and respond to emails in a timely and detail-oriented manner
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and documentation
  • Experience in order entry and efficient management of customer orders
  • Ability to schedule appointments effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources and time
  • Knowledge of Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) policies and procedures
  • Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and ability to apply them in daily work
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, particularly those in low-income brackets
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and assist customers in a variety of situations
