We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in White Plains, New York. This is a contract-to-permanent position offering part-time hours, ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently with attention to detail
Collaborate with customers, primarily business-to-business, to resolve inquiries and provide updates
Process credits and create special orders as needed
Maintain accurate records in the internal system and ensure all information is up-to-date
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
Assist with dispatching tasks to ensure timely deliveries and operations
Participate in on-site training to develop system navigation skills and role-specific expertise
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster positive relationships
Adapt to a rotating schedule and demonstrate flexibility in work hours
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
Familiarity with order entry and tracking systems is preferred
Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining attention to detail
Previous experience in dispatching or coordinating deliveries is a plus
Proficiency in navigating computer systems and software applications
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to have:
Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently
