Customer Service Representative

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers by addressing inquiries related to insurance policies, claims, billing, and coverage options
• Provide accurate information and assist customers in understanding their insurance options and benefits
• Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other account changes with consistent attention to detail
• Demonstrate knowledge of the insurance industry's regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Actively identify opportunities to improve customer retention and satisfaction

• High school diploma or GED required
• bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the insurance or customer service industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Resident of Hawaii is strongly preferred for local familiarity and access to clients
